Machined on CNC the BluePower DELRIN piston head designed and manufactured by Italian company TopMax. Lightweight, reliable and durable design suits all kinds of configurations.
The head butt is designed to reduce head impact stress even at higher ROFs. The BluePower piston head does not have a double o-sealing/stabilising ring , but has a small intrusion that reduces the contact area with the inside of the cylinder to minimise friction. The insert for the head mount on the piston is slightly shorter to fit on any piston available on the market. For this, the head has eight axial and radial vents. Thethe size and position of the radial bores is even different from the RedPower head, to achieve greater aggressiveness during o-ring expansion while maintaining shot stability, regularity and accuracy.
BluePower piston head has been designed, to provide a faster compression phase, a shorter opening time and to ensure that the air volume in the cylinder is fully compressed almost immediately.
It can be used in any configuration, starting with low ROF systems. to high ROF, but it is recommended to use the head for high ROF. in short/super-short inner barrel configurations to take advantage of the early compression resulting from the bore position.
Piston head stress tests were carried out using higher power springs, making it reliable and efficient even in more advanced configurations. For maximum performance, we recommend pairing the piston head with a TopMax piston and cylinder head.
