SR5 A5 is an excellent AEG submachine gun replica where the upper receiver was made of a steel sheet, which sets the series apart from others available on the market. The magazine and small details such as the tactical sling swivel are also made of steel. Remaining metal elements such as the external barrel, the stock slide or the silencer were made of aluminum. Similarly to the live firearm original, parts made of reinforced nylon polymer include the silencer shroud, the lower receiver along with the pistol  grip and the stock pad.
