The PPŠ-41 (Russian: Пистолет-пулемёт Шпагина 1941, transliterated: Pistolet-Pulemët Špagina 1941) is a Soviet machine gun designed by Georgij Špagin as an alternative to the more expensive and complex PPD-40.

It was one of the most widely used weapons of the entire Second World War. It is estimated that more than 6 million examples of the weapon were produced during the war. Constructed largely of stamped steel, the weapon could be fed by either two-barrel or drum magazines (like this airsoft replica).

It was also widely used after World War II during the Korean War, in Vietnam the weapon became popular with both the Vietcong and NVA forces and remained in use until the 1970s.

A specially designed gearbox, with a v.7 based design, and a fast spring change system were used in this model. This allows you to easily alter the initial muzzle velocity of your replica, adjusting it to your current requirements. This, combined with great and realistic attention to detail, adds much to the level of realism.
